GROUP THERAPY
GROUP THERAPY
Group therapy is very effective
Group psychotherapy is highly effective and efficient. You are guided by the therapist and supported by the experiences and presence of other group members. They also know mental suffering and want to change. This setting creates a unique opportunity to share experiences and build confidence together.
Support and "mirroring"
The group offers you support, mirrors your behaviour, and provides feedback. In contact with yourself and others, you can discover, understand, acknowledge and change patterns of relationships and behaviour.
Who is group psychotherapy for?
If you want to develop yourself, group therapy can be a helpful format. A therapy group offers different levels of interaction. You can experiment in various settings, for example, in dealing with emotions. You can get in touch with how you feel alongside others in a situation and receive feedback on how others perceive you. You can also explore new behaviours, such as talking about a problematic issue with others or expressing your anger and resentment. This experience can open new perspectives and strengthen your self-image and self-esteem.
Group psychotherapy offers you the opportunity to get to the bottom of your often unconscious relationship patterns. You can get to the root of your issues and thus create the basis for change. You can exchange ideas with people in a similar situation and gain new perspectives on both your own and shared themes.
Current groups
You can participate in the following group therapy formats. The group sessions are in German. I currently offer only individual therapy in English.
